Generations of Pride

Generations of Pride is our intergenerational community dinner centering LGBTQ+ people and allies in the Bellingham/Whatcom community. 

The last Wednesday of every month at Bellingham Senior Activity Center, 316 Halleck St.

Hosted by Western Washington University's LGBTQ+ Western, Bellingham Queer Collective, and the Bellingham/Whatcom Chapter of PFLAG. Inspired by research from Western's Psychology Department's Listen Lab.

Each month we have a different topic for discussion with breakouts to help connect LGBTQ+ people across generations.

Thanks to the Sustainability, Equity, and Justice Fund, we do not need any more potluck items. We thank the efforts of PFLAG, Bellingham Queer Collective, Generations of Pride, LGBTQ+ Western, the Centers, and staff and attendees for making this possible.

Come and go as you need to and please bring friends! Main event usually starts around 5:30.

Who is ready for trivia?!

Our 3rd annual Generations of Pride Trivia Night is this Wednesday from 5-7pm at the Bellingham Senior Activity Center.

We've got prizes donated from local businesses that we will highlight on our story the next few days. Totaling over $250 in value!

We encourage you to sit with people from many different generations as all of our categories span decades of LGBTQ+ culture and history.

Speaking of the categories, they are:

Our next Generations of Pride event will be “Queer Careers and Futures”! Come chat with queer elders and learn what it is like to be gay in the workforce as well as lots of useful tips for entering the workforce!

The event will be on Wednesday, May 27th from 5-7 PM at 317 N Halleck Street. Additionally, the event is 18+!

Join us for the Generations of Pride: Spring Cleaning Swap-Meet on Wednesday, March 25th from 5-7pm at the Bellingham Senior Activity Center 315 Halleck St, Bellingham, WA 98225

Please do not bring:
Large furniture, broken items, dirty items, underwear*

*Binders, bras, and other gender affirming items are welcome*
